Casarte de.... ¿Zara?

Poco le quedaba a este pequeño gran imperio para cubir todos los sectores de mercado.
Pues bien parece que cada vez le queda menos puesto que Zara se volverá competidora directa de firmas como pronovias o  Rosa Clará entre otras, ya que entrará de lleno en el negocio de los vestidos de novia.

Y que mejor forma de hacerlo y promocionarse, que el día de la boda de Marta Ortega, hija de Amancio Ortega el próximo 18 de Febrero de 2012, que será cuando todo este proyecto tenga salida al público.

No sólo diseñará vestidos de novia, sino toda una colección de vestidos, accesorios tanto para la novia como para el evento.

Aunque suene extraño y lo veamos raro. Pensar, ¿qué mejor que acudir a Zara, tu tienda de uso diario para comprarte un vestido y accesorios para una boda de esas en las que no sabes qué ponerte?
Yo ya tengo ganas de ver el vestido de Marta y de que este proyecto salga a la luz!

Aunque el tiempo no lo demuestre poco a poco nos adentramos en el invierno y con ello en Navidades, mi época preferida del año; las luces, los árboles, los regalos, las cenas con los amigos, los planes navideños... Hoy me ha entrado una gran nostalgia navideña y aún a pesar de tener que estudiar, he sacado un hueco para contaros como me sentía hoy. Esta es mi inspiración para este invierno. Total look winter!

Victoria´s Secret Fashion Show 2011: Preview

Ayer tuvo lugar la grabación del tan aclamado desfile anual de VS. Y como ya sabéis lo que me encanta esta marca y os dije que cuando saliesen novedades iba a traéroslas al instante, aquí lo tenéis.
Fotos del backstage y del desfile, el cual he de reconocer que promete. No sólo por su espectacular escenario, sus creacciones y sus modelos (37 en total, de las cuales 15 son nuevas en VS), si no también por la puesta en escena, con música en directo como ya os conté de Maroon 5 con su exitoso "Moves like Jagger", de Kayne West y anunciado hace escasos días, Nicki Minaj en la sección VS Pink.
Yo ya tengo muchisimas ganas de que llegue para verlo completo y no sólo fotos sueltas, ya que te deja la miel en los labios. Os iré informando cuando sepa más cosas! Feliz día a todos!

Gucci brilló en la Gala Lacma.

El sábado tuvo lugar la Gala Lacma Art & Film que se celebró en el County Museum of Art de Los Angeles. Donde asistieron un repertorio de actrices y actores ya que el gran homenajeado de la noche fue el Clint Eastwood.
Actrices como Rachel Evan Wood, Zoe Saldana, Camilla Belle, Olivia Wilde, Amy Adams, Rachel Zoe, Kate Hudson, Kate Bosworth, Reese Witherspoon o Emily Blunt, entre otras.

Y aunque Clint Eastwood era el homenajeado, fue Gucci quién brillo esa noche, ya que tres de las actrices que asistieron eligieron diseños similares para la gala, de la colección de Gucci para el próximo verano. Tanto Rachel Evan Wood, Zoe Sladana y Camilla Belle, en tonos dorados, blancos y negros. Vestidos de inspiración charleston con flecos en distintos cortes pero todos muy parecidos.
El que más me gusta es sin duda el de Zoe Saldana, pero hay que reconocer que para la ocasión la que bordo el estilismo años 20, fue Rachel Evan Wood, con un recogido de ondas al agua, magnífica.

The more I like it´s undoubtedly that of Zoe Saldana, but it is necessary to admit that for the occasion that I embroider the style os years 20, she was Rachel Evan Wood, with gathered from waves to the water, magnificent.

Y aunque la coincidencia de estilismos fue lo más señalado de la Gala en la alfombra roja, necesitaba enseñaros una foto del look que escogió Olivia Wilde para la ocasión. Y es que, desde que esta chica salto a la alfombra roja con House, sus estilismos son cada vez mejores, y he de decir que está increíble con este vestido rojo y el pelo recogido en una coleta. Para mí, un 10 entre todos los estilismos que escogieron aquella noche.

And though the coincidence of estilismos was the more indicated of the Show in the red carpet, I needed to show you a photo of the look that Olivia Wilde chose for the occasion. Abercrombie & Fitch: Welcome to Madrid.

El jueves 3 de Noviembre de 2011, siempre será una fecha señalada para aquellos que somos seguidores de la marca Abercrombie & Fitch, ya que después de muchos años de espera, por fín han abierto una de sus maravillosas tiendas en Madrid.
Hace un año, abrieron Hollister, tienda de la misma firma, pero personalmente pienso que no es lo mismo. Y parece ser que van a abrir otras tiendas por Europa, y una de ellas ha sido en Madrid, exactamente en la Plaza Marqués de Salamanca

¿Qué tiene A&F que nos vuelve locos? Un marketing interno brutal. Empezando por su ropa que es preciosa, sus dependientes modelos, su olor, la luz tenue de la tienda, la música, el ambiente totalmente diferente al de cualquier otra tienda.
El único "inconveniente" por llamarlo de alguna manera que tiene A&F son sus precios desorbitales. Yo, tengo ropa de la tienda, pero comprada en otras sucursales como NYC, Londres o Milán, pero en cuanto a precios no tienen nada que ver con Madrid, generalmente su ropa es cara, pero en Madrid, creo que es algo excesivo.
Aún así a lo largo de esta semana han hecho varios eventos en los cuales hemos estado en todos. El viernes 28 hicieron una presentación antes de la oficial apertura, donde sus 101 modelos se presentaban ante la gente que pasaba por la acera, y el jueves 3 estuvimos en la inauguración donde aún a pesar de la lluvia, la gente (entre las cuales me incluyo) hicimos cola para esta tan esperada apertura que tanto tiempo llevábamos esperando.
En conclusión, aunque parezca mentira, por fín tenemos un A&F en nuestra ciudad, cosa que me encanta, aunque a la larga posiblemente me arruine!

On Thursday, the 3rd of November, 2011, always it will be a date indicated for those that we are followers of the brand Abercrombie and Fitch, after of many years of wait, they have opened one of his wonderful shops in Madrid.

One year ago, they opened Hollister, shop of the same company, but personally I think that it is not the same thing. And it seems to be that they are going to open other shops for Europe, and one of them has been in Madrid, exactly in the Plaza Marqués de Salamanca.

What has A&F that turns us crazys? A great internal marketing. Beginning for his clothes that is beautiful, his dependent models, his smell, the tenuous light of the shop, the music, the totally different environment to another shop.

The "inconvenient" only one being calling it somehow that has A&F are his prices exaggerate them. I have clothes of the shop, but bought in other branches like NYC, London or Milan, but as for prices they do not have anything that to see with Madrid, generally his clothes are expensive, but in Madrid, I believe that it is something excessive.

Nonetheless throughout this week they have done several events in which we have been in all. On Friday, the 28th they did a presentation before the official opening, where his 101 models were appearing before the people who was happening for the sidewalk, and on Thursday, the 3rd we were in the inauguration where still in spite of the rain, the people (which I include myself) we did tail for this one so awaited opening that so much time we were taking waiting.

In conclusion, though it looks like a lie, we have an A&F in our city, thing that I am charmed with, though eventually possibly I am ruined!
